Today, 1901 a fast food chain franchise which sold American hot dogs was having a special promotion on the 19th of every month. So happens, it is the 19th today for the month of March. New York Chicken & Chicago Beef regular for RM 1.99 each over the usual price of RM 5.90 each. Being a student, this promotion was not to be missed. The queue started as early as 8.50am in the morning and lasted till around 2pm plus plus. The only catch here is that after making a total sale of 500 hot dogs, they would resumed back to their usual pricing. It was total madness as everywhere i went around uni today, the only thing i saw was everyone with a 1901 hot dog be it being eaten or carried around.hahaha. Nevertheless, i happened to be the first customer together with a friend of mine, jin hang. It was totally unplanned and we somehow went as the first customer. Buying a total of 9 or 10 hot dogs.lol. I ate 3 while the rest were eaten by some other friend. Those 3 serve as both my lunch and breakfast. To those that miss out this promotion, no worries as the promotion starts again on the 19th of the next month! Be ready that time and marked it down in your calender!
Speaking of bible, on my way back from medan to uni with two of my friends, i was handed a free mini bible by two guys in front of the uni. They seem to be distributing free mini bibles. Lets see, the front part states New Tastament and below it PsalmsProverbs. After reading i'm not really sure its a bible or what. Nevertheless, i applaud this two gentlement standing down on the hot glaring sun distributing it. Kudos. Great heart and determination. Classes ended at 2pm today so i managed to reach home earlier than usual. I guess that's about all today. :)
